NGO "U-Terra" became a co-organizer of the international conference
NGO "U-Terra" became a co-organizer of an international conference and was awarded a diploma for its contribution to the development of environmental safety
On May 26–28, 2026, in Kyiv, within the framework of the XXII International Specialized Exhibition "Defense Technologies/Firefighting Technology", the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Problems and Innovative Technologies in the Field of Civil Protection and Environmental Safety for the Post-War Restoration of Ukraine" was held. The event brought together leading scientists, representatives of state authorities, public organizations, international institutions, specialists in the field of civil protection, environmental safety, humanitarian demining and protection of critical infrastructure.
The NGO "U-Terra" was one of the co-organizers of the conference and presented its developments at the exhibition, confirming its active position in forming a professional dialogue on overcoming the environmental consequences of the war and ensuring the sustainable development of Ukraine. Co-chairman of the NGO "U-Terra" Vasyl Trysnyuk joined the conference program committee, which testified to the significant contribution of the organization to the preparation and holding of this international scientific forum.
As part of the conference, the co-chairman of the NGO "U-Terra", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vasyl Mykolayovych Trysnyuk, delivered a report on "Information technologies of aerospace and geoinformation monitoring of technogenic and environmental threats in conditions of military influences".
The presented work highlights modern approaches to the use of aerospace and geoinformation technologies for the prompt detection, assessment and forecasting of technogenic and environmental threats arising as a result of military actions. Particular attention is paid to the use of remote sensing data, geoinformation modeling and spatial analysis methods to determine the scale of environmental damage, monitor the state of natural ecosystems and provide information support for the processes of post-war restoration of the territories of Ukraine.
Representatives of the NGO "U-Terra" also took an active part in the work of the XXII International Specialized Exhibition "Protection Technologies/Firefighting", where modern technologies and innovative solutions in the field of civil protection, environmental safety, protection of critical infrastructure, liquidation of the consequences of emergencies and humanitarian demining were presented.
For active participation in the exhibition and a significant contribution to the development of modern approaches to ensuring environmental safety and civil protection, the NGO "U-Terra" was awarded a diploma. This recognition was evidence of the effective activities of the organization aimed at attracting public attention to environmental problems, popularizing scientific knowledge, developing environmental education and implementing innovative technologies for environmental protection.
The participation of the NGO "U-Terra" in the preparation and holding of the international forum once again confirmed the importance of combining the efforts of civil society, science, state institutions and international partners to overcome the consequences of the war and form a safe, environmentally balanced future for Ukraine.
The NGO "U-Terra" will continue to direct its activities to support environmental initiatives, develop environmental monitoring systems, spread environmental culture, and participate in the implementation of projects that will contribute to the green restoration and sustainable development of our state.
